About Samr Centre

Samr Centre is a vibrant masjid and community centre open to all, providing a wide range of services and activities to cater to the diverse needs of our community. In addition to the 5 daily Salahs and Jummah prayers, we are excited to announce that we are expanding our facilities by adding a new floor to the masjid. This expansion will create more space for congregants, allowing us to accommodate a larger number of worshippers comfortably.

We also understand the importance of engaging our youth in positive and healthy activities. That's why we will be introducing sports activities specifically designed for children. Through these activities, we aim to foster physical fitness, teamwork, and discipline in a fun and Islamic environment. Additionally, we will have a dedicated sports programs for women, encouraging them to stay active and connected with the community.

At Samr Centre, we believe in nurturing both the spiritual and intellectual growth of our community members. That's why we organize engaging madrasah classes for children of all ages. Our experienced teachers are committed to providing a comprehensive Islamic education, instilling a love for learning, and imparting valuable knowledge to the next generation.

In order to foster community connection and provide opportunities for social interaction, we regularly organize a variety of social activities and events. From community dinners to workshops, these events aim to bring people together, strengthen bonds, and create a sense of unity and belonging.

Furthermore, we are pleased to announce that we host weekly lectures by our in-house Imaams and guest speakers. These enlightening sessions will cover a wide range of topics, including Quranic studies, Islamic history, and contemporary issues. By attending these lectures, community members can expand their knowledge, gain spiritual insights, and deepen their understanding of Islam.
